Rep. Wilson - Be not intimidated
When I reflect upon Rep. Wilson's plainly speaking the truth, and the uproar it has created because of some "violation" of "decorum" or House Rules... or a veiled "racism"... I am reminded of these words.
"Be not intimidated... nor suffer yourselves to be wheedled out of your liberties by any pretense of politeness, delicacy, or decency. These, as they are often used, are but three different names for hypocrisy, chicanery and cowardice." - (1765) John Adams (1735-1826) Founding Father, 2nd US President
In my opinion, Rep. Wilson did not say enough and it is to their shame that the other Representatives said nothing.
I certainly would have.
