Rep. Wilson - Be not intimidated

When I reflect upon Rep. Wilson's plainly speaking the truth, and the uproar it has created because of some "violation" of "decorum" or House Rules... or a veiled "racism"... I am reminded of these words.

"Be not intimidated... nor suffer yourselves to be wheedled out of your liberties by any pretense of politeness, delicacy, or decency. These, as they are often used, are but three different names for hypocrisy, chicanery and cowardice." - (1765) John Adams (1735-1826) Founding Father, 2nd US President

In my opinion, Rep. Wilson did not say enough and it is to their shame that the other Representatives said nothing.

I certainly would have.

A SECOND DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE

Action of the American People, Published September 10, 2009
To Reclaim the U.S. Constitution and Sovereignty of the United States of America

A unanimous Declaration of the fifty United States of America,

WHEN in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to reclaim the Political Bond which has connected them with one another, and to again assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to that reclamation.

WE hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. - That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, - That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security. - Such has been the patient sufferance of these Fifty States; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their current Systems of Government and reclaim the limited Federal Government specifically authorized by the United States Constitution. The history of the present Federal Government of these United States of America is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world.

The Federal Government of The United States, and those within, have:

Failed to acknowledge the Constitution as a Restraint upon the Government, to Protect the People’s Liberty, Freedom and Rights.

Repeatedly ignored their solemn, and binding, oath to Uphold, Protect and Defend the U.S. Constitution from all enemies, both foreign and domestic. – “I, [name], do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.”

Become the very Domestic Enemies of the Constitution they are sworn to defend against.

Erected a Multitude of new Offices, and sent hither Swarms of Officers to harass the American People, and eat out their Substance.

Waged economic Treason, and War, upon the American People by subjecting them to oppressive and enslaving taxes and debt.

Combined with others to subject us to a Jurisdiction foreign to our Constitution, giving Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation.

Levied excessive and oppressive tax burden on the People, treating the Labor of the People and the fruit of that labor as the Government’s endowment.

Repeatedly trampled on the U.S. Constitution by passing multitudes of laws without proper Constitutional authority to do so.

Deprived the American People, in many Cases, of the Benefits of Trial by Jury.

Enacted numerous laws giving members of the Government special privilege.

Exempted members of the Government from the very laws they burden the rest of the People.

Effectively suspended the State Legislatures, making them inferior and subordinate to the Federal.

Repeatedly and regularly Violated the Public’s Trust.

Passed taxes on unalienable, specifically enumerated rights guaranteed by the Bill Of Rights in an attempt to circumvent the Constitution, to control and/or to eliminate those rights through that taxation.

Actively pursued alienating the People from their Creator and God given unalienable rights, by denying those rights come from God, governing as though the Government gives and takes those rights, as the Government alone sees fit.

Failed to exercise proper oversight and control of the Judiciary, whose steady encroachment and usurpation of the Legislative and Executive branches has seized all control, effectively turning the Judiciary into an unaccountable and tyrannous Oligarchy.

Perverted the intent and meaning of the First Amendment by their active defense of and condoning of pornography.

Perverted the Constitution by finding within the U.S. Constitution an abomination, a national disgrace and tragedy: the “right” to allow mothers to mercilessly and brutally kill their own children through abortion, resulting in the slaughter of over 50,000,000 unborn children, depriving them of the most basic right, the Right to Life.

Waged a consistent and persistent War to remove Almighty God, His providence, protection and influence from the Government and the People.

Failed to protect and defend the borders of the United States against invasion by multitudes of illegal immigrants.

Failed to arrest and deport all who are in the United States illegally.

Failed to protect the jobs and livelihoods of Americans from those who are Illegally in the United States and working.

In every stage of these Oppressions we have Petitioned for Redress, with those petitions being answered only by repeated Injury.

We have repeatedly warned them of their conduct and appealed to Common Sense, Justice and Sense of Duty, to no avail.

We must, therefore, hold them, as we hold the rest of Mankind, Enemies in War, in Peace, Friends.

To this end: We the People, reassert Our claim to the U.S. Constitution. It is Ours, not theirs; And we fully intend to take back that which was taken from us through usurpation, ignorance, incompetence, evil design and deceit.

We, therefore, the People of the United States of America, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the United States Constitution, solemnly publish and declare, That these Fifty States are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States, that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the UnConstitutional Federal Government in place, and that all political connection between them and that governement, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do. — And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.

Pay Attention! DON'T TREAD ON ME! - (censored and deemed "inappropriate" by the Southwest Times Record editor)

Let the liberal hand-wringing begin.

After shouting from the rooftops for decades that our government is out of control and repeatedly being ignored, many are now finally realizing that the reason they were not being listened to is that those responsible are duplicitous lawbreakers, not dutiful lawmakers – Democrats and Republicans alike!

Lawbreaking lawmakers, domestic enemies of the Constitution, oath breakers, must be stopped! America's survival depends on it. They have taxed, spent, coerced, confiscated, oppressed, abused and burdened the American people for far too long.

Why are people demonstrating at political gatherings while bearing firearms? They are rightfully, appropriately and Constitutionally demonstrating to the lawbreaking lawmakers that elected powers are in fact limited, strictly constrained by the Constitution, and ultimately held in check only by the 2nd Amendment. We The People still possess the legal and Constitutional authority, ability and capability to restrain, remove and replace them, and are willing to do so, by force if necessary. Will it be?

Constitutional rights need to be exercised. It's the old “If you don't use it, you lose it” principle. In the original spirit and intent of the 2nd Amendment we need to remind the lawbreaking lawmakers that our bite, if continued to be provoked, may indeed exceed our bark.

Many of us have sworn to protect the Constitution against ALL enemies, both foreign and domestic. We will, within our specifically enumerated Constitutional rights. Under no circumstances are we going to passively or cowardly surrender our Country of liberty, freedom and opportunity, or Constitution to the lawless, elitist usurpers... without a fight. It's time to choose sides.

For the sake of our children, our grandchildren and their childrens' children, let the cry once again be heard throughout our Land: “Don't Tread On Me!” Take action! (before it's too late.)
